Freestyle Cc's vs carb size???

At what cc is it recomended that you should use duel carbs?

Vague questions vague response. Yamaha did it for there 760 motors, I'm pretty sure they know what they are doing.

Well if you were building a huge 850 cc Kawasaki with mild mods would a 46mm be too small?

Just as a data point........I run a Team Scream ss865 on a single stock 46 and it runs beautiful

and to confuse i also run a SS865 with twin ATP 48s and it runs beautiful as well

i run single 48 novi on a 850bb and it hits hard.

think its more or less tuning. playing with jet sizes and really paying attention to detail on tuning your ski shouldnt matter 1 or 2. IMO have had yamaha 760 with single and twin carb set ups with same mods and didnt seem to skip a beat on either.

It would not be too small for general use, maybe a little for freestyle. A single needs to be smaller than the largest useable dual because it has a lower strength vacuum pulse. The biggest carb is fine for freestyle type throttling but may not work for long WOT runs.
