cases and motor question

ok so i just bought a 61x top end to mount on my 6m6 cases for now untill winter comes and i can build a real motor.

my question is .....

if i buy a 62t cases will everything from my 6m6 motor be interchangable ?

some ppl told me i can use all my stuff ... electronics,crank, startor, flywheel etc. as long as its all 6m6 stuff

and some ppl told me i cant because its a totally dofferent motor.

or will i have to buy all 62t stuff ?

if i do have to buy 62t stuff what do i need to get ?

Get the cases and throw your 650 crank in them. Stator and flywheel will fit as will everything else.

You will need a 62T intake setup.

You're already starting to think about going bigger aren't you. okey: That top end should be there tomorrow.

Everything will swap over except the intake. The 6m6 CDI has a lower rev limiter though. You can get a 61x CDI with a higher rev limiter, and swap it out. I'm running 6m6 electronics with a lightened flywheel on my LPW big bore. I just replaced the CDI for an MSD.

and will it put out the same performance etc... compared to if i had a 62t crank etc.??

The cranks are the same for 6m6, 61x, or 62t cases. Your 6m6 flywheel is a little lighter than a 62t flywheel.

All you need is a 61x cdi for the higher rev limit over the 6m6 cdi, and you are set. Everything else will work. You will need an intake, reeds, and carbs though.
