Cascade helmet

For anyone looking for full face protection, I highly recomend the Cascade CPX Lacrosse helmet.

I just rode with it for the first time, and I love this helmet already. It is very light, good vision and the water drains out quickly. Also, the foam doesn't seem to hold the water.

I'm going to wear this even when I'm riding flat water.

Those bmx style helmets don't give any protection to the face. You can still break your nose, bust a lip, knock out teeth!!!!

I think these Lacrosse helmets look cool, and you can't beat the protection they offer.

The walmart helmets do not have chin straps like the lacrosse helmets do and will turn sideways on a barrel roll attempt. The pads in the kids walmart helmets also soak alot of water compared to lacrosse helmets.

Once you go lacrosse, you never go back....

The first time you eat your carbon pole pad in the face and it bounces off the face-guard, you won't care how much it cost you.

The Cascade white water rafting helmet has the cage too, but is priced cheaper than the Lacross helmet. (If you want to save some $$) I definately agree about the cage to protect your face. Been there, done that. I wear mine every time I go out now.

do some research on this sight. there have been plenty of face injuries to people wearing bmx helmets. really you just look like an idiot with one of those on.

the white water one doesn't fit as well. it has this weird strap that goes around the back of your head instead of padding. it also has a chin strap that isn't as good. deblaster bought one and now wants the lacrosse instead.

You're definately correct about the fit, but I cut a piece of 8mm padding and put around the back part of the helmet and it made a world of difference. It fits pretty snug now and doesn't move around hardly at all. I was able to loosen up that back strap because of that also. But yeah, out of the box it fit kinda loose towards the back. I'm happy with it now with that piece of padding though. Light as heck.

I have a brine triad and I like the rear lower head strap it has. Keeps the helmet from flipin over my head and the chin strap from slipping over my face.

i like the strap in the back. i also put a piece of 8mm foam in the rear of the helmet and it keeps the strap off the back of my head. but the strap still catches if it comes up to high. kinda keeps it centered on your head.
