Carbs Question

I can't decide on which carbs to run. I have a set of OEM dual SBN 44's on a 760 manifold and I also have a set of dual SBN 46's on a PROTEC manifold. My main concern is fuel consumption. Is running 46's really going to take that much more gas. Or should I run the 46's for performance, if there really is a bigger gain with 46's? I would really like to try both of them out, but there is 2 feet of ice still on the lakes and I need the $$ from selling a set.

My Setup:
1996 Superjet
Ported LPW 760 Big Bore
ADA head (180psi)
Factory B pipe
Lightened stock flywheel
solas 13/16 cutback
borred nozzle

The Mikuni 46mm Super BN carbs have a better pilot circuit signal which makes them great for freestyle setups, while the factory 44mm carbs are more suited for less fuel consumption with fewer bypass holes and finer threaded adjustment screws.

Plus the 46mm carbs flow about 25cfm more then the 44mm carbs.

I'd use the dual 46mm carbs on the stock 760 intake setup and sell the rest.
