Yep that's it @yamanube. I like what I presume are the intakes on the top there. Good for getting air in to the 1100. Right now the plan is to paint up two hoods, the one I got from you, and then this one. I'm interested to see how the weight difference impacts handling, especially considering I'm going to go with a rear waterbox.

The lighter hood will lower the center of gravity of the ski.

Right and go a long way to reducing the weight added by the 1100, which near as I can remember is somewhere around +40 lbs with the oem pipe. Pretty sure the weight delta of the hood will be about about -10lbs for a carbon and probably -8-9 for glass. Based off other carbon and glass hoods we've got. Rear waterbox would take the weight of the oem box and hoses off, which with water is probably close to 10 lbs also.
My brother has quite a bit of sxr 1100 experience based on his two builds, and back in the day I talked to customRide0105 about his 1100 SJ. He and Scotty Mac had nothing but good things to say about it. I'm excited for this build.
