Carbon B Pipe chamber without stinger cooling

Hi,
I trade a my aluminium chamber against a carbon chamber.
This chamber has no stinger water insert.
I am wondering if my waterbows won't heat too much...

Should I try like that with one turn out of the top screw ?
Or should I Build a pickup to inject water in the stinger ?

This is a special chamber with restricted stinger... I know that many carbon chamber have no stinger cooling... But I have no real answers from people running that setup.

Which setup do you use on the headpipe ?
The top screw is currently 3/4 turns and the two others are closed.
Is that enough to cool the chamber and the waterbox ?

We have a HBC chamber and it does have a stinger (not sure whether someone added it)... but yeah cooling issues with pipes always make me wonder what should be the correct cooling method/water injection amount for the pipe to run as hot as possible without meltng everything...

I was originally under the impression that all my screws were closed but when I had my pipe out last I found the top screw open 1/4 turn with the mid and bottom closed right off.

You can see the spray bar location in the headpipe in this picture and the block off fitting in the stinger outlet.

Mine has tons of bottom end but how much is the pipe and how much is the porting will always be up for debate. You'll have to try my ski, or rather my wife's ski the next time your out with us.

you coming to wavedaze this yr? Would be a interesting experiment to close the top screw and just run the bar, then disconect the bar and open the top screw and run that back to back

Possibly, still too far away to confirm for sure.

When i set up my wifes ski with a wamiltons Carbon Chamber I had originally added a swedglok valve so I could swap back and forth between stinger and spray bar for back to back water testing but never really found the time to play with it at all plus without messing with screws everytime it's not really an apples to apples comparison.

Now I leave the fine tuning to you spoiled guys who live closer than 4 hours from water. If our skis are running good I don't mess with anything... get em dialed in and just ride!

I know what you mean there bud, that pipe water test is one of the easy ones that could be done in a few min though,I found huge amounts more of low end in my 5 mil motor by giving it some extra water from the top screw and closing the rest, Running the pipe hotter only got more upper mid range and robed some low end response.

The pipe came to me from Crammit's camp via Yamanube and they had it dialed in long before I got a hold of it. It ripped so hard i was never inclined to really go looking for more. It's on my wifes ski now and the TLR Race ported 760 is more than enough for her the way it is.

ah i thought you were using it on the ts pv motor.depending on what motor and port timing the pipe was prev setup on the amount of water needed for a sim result would be diff
