So i was just rebuilding my carb and was wondering what a good place to start out w/ the tuning would be.. I just bought this ski a couple months ago and plan on tearing into during the winter..
My current setup:
701
46mm carb
factory B pipe & exhaust manifold
K&N
170 comp
stock ign
skat track prop unsure what pitch
Current settings:
H 2 turns out from closed
L 1 3/4 turn from closed
Jets:
150
120
Needle and seat unsure of silver spring and the needle is silver? unsure of pop-off (Ie have no clue what it is)
Problems:
before I took it off it seemed to not want to idle sometimes and then idle fine others.. it seemed to run strong however w/ the b-pipe and 170 comp and 46mm i would think it has more bottom end? It also seemed to be fouling a lot of plugs..
