Carb tune question

I got a pair of 38s on a protec intake for my sn650.

It's got a protec pipe...the old chrome one.. High comp head.. 701 cdi. And a upgraded impeller. I can't think of the pitch. But it's recommended..

Where should I start with the carb settings?
 
What do y'all recommend on preperation to use these? The last owner never used them. They are used tho. They are marked 64u I think. They look to be in perfect shape visually.

I'm a noob, but I can't help but think that you'd be better off with a single carb. I doubt the 650 will be able to pull enough air to really take advantage of the dual setup. Maybe I'm wrong?
