Custom/Hybrid Carb removal?

I got 2 questions.... 1. Need a link for the carb adapter plate, for quick removal. 2. What tools do you guys use to remove the hard to reach bolts, between carbs and intake? ( I got 46 BJ's) All I can get in there, is an open side of the wrench but can't turn it enough to loosen. The two nuts on the inside are impossible.

Stubby 12 mm open box wrench should do it just fine.

There is no add-on carb adapter plate. You have to get a manifold specific to that. R&D Dominator, Boyesen, and DASA come to mind.

My problem is not the length of the wrench, it's more of the thicknest of the head that limits the travel. I've already cut the wrench in half so I can swing it, so my next move would be grinding down the head a bit. And I thought someone was making (on here) quick realease plates. ????

You need to lift the wrench and have it at a bit of an angle to clear the other nut and stud. I've never had an impossible removal, with a few different a/m intakes. You should try a Yamaha triple :)

Yeah, I know what you mean, I tried the angle and I'm just chewing up the nut. Matt, do you have a pic of your motor that you had for sale? That had some kind of a plate if I remember right.

You can't. You have to buy a manifold specifically for it. I had one for sale

The R&D manifold was made in both variations. But you can't add it to one that wasn't made for it.
Having had the removable plate: Unless you find a good deal on one or you have to remove your carbs 30 times a year, don't bother.
