ok, was rejetting my carbs for my bpipe, I I went to put in my jet works carb screws, and the high speed one hits the choke linkage.. So when you install a primer it gets rid of this linkage doesn't it? How hard are those to install or should I not worry about it and just use the Stock screws? ITs a 99 sj so I can adjust them no problem.

Yes, you remove the butterfly and linkage. You "can" do the job with the cabs still in the ski but I wouldn't advise it if its your first time. Plus you run into the possibility of droping something down the carbs.
Easiest way to do it is to remove the butterfly then cut the center part of the linkage out with a pair of cutters. Then just pull the linkage out and install the fittings.

I have the carbs out of the ski right now. Thats why I Was wondering if its worth it to do the primer over the choke. Or just leave it and deal with trying to tune with the stock screws.

So you have to cut out the choke plates?

You will have to take the carbs off. Has any one actually installed a primer kit with out taking the carbs off? I also have the jss bulb and it is pretty nice. Only one ride so far though.

You might have to remove 38's. I did it once on my old B1 (single 44) but it's actually easier to just take it off.

I"m gonna rock the stock choke for now... aparently until I get a ported motor, its not really a big deal, and is easier to tune with the stock choke butterfly's in.
