Carb jetting/tuning

Looking for recommendations on carb jetting and tuning. Details on ski.

1994 Yamaha Waveblaster
701 61x top and bottom.
Head deck: .030
Compression on cylinders: 175 front 175 rear
Carb setup: dual 38’s protec taper bored. Independent fuel pumps on each carb. Flame arrestors.
Pipe: full protec pipe.

Looking for recommendations on setups. Currently running lean with screws at least 2 turns out.

80g spring
135 main
75 pilot
 
If you are happy with the way its running, besides being lean on top, you are 95% there. Just go up to 140 mains.

The ski runs. That’s about it. It has no balls for lack of better Words.... not really a grand throttle response. If you hold it wide open across the lake then let off and attempt to get back on it it sucks. Lol. Basically I have to come to a stop then let it idle for a bit and then I can go again. My single 44 performed better. But I know once these dual 38’s get set up they will be great.

had the same setup. little bitch to get running . ran fine in straight line but leaned it left or right on the gas and bogged out.

revert back to single 44. braapp
 
i just got my carbs back from group K for the tru boring and the mods they set them for was Factory B pipe mod, 180 psi riva girdled head, msd ignition enhancer, dual Tau Ceti air filters, Group K had put 1.5 needle and seat-140 jet and 75 smaller jet -95 gram spring- highs adjustment screws 1-1/8 out lows 1 turn out,
