don't do it... They are there for more than one reason... Believe it or not...

You run the risk of having water back-flow into your engine.

In other words, don't do it.

So, it will sound like , potentialy swamp your motor and run slower.

Do all of us fellow jetskiiers a favor, and keep the waterbox. Dumbasses who strait pipe there ski's are what piss people off and get our waterways closed. Not to mention the risk of water intrusion and no back pressure.

Actually there will be more back pressure than with an aftermarket box if the rear outlet is maintained. Its just too loud for most places. I know kids want attention but noise is just too damaging to our existence to be tolerated. Only the wealthy with large powerboats can get away with making too much noise.

yea for real no water box is retarded... youll make less power, it will sound like and u can have water back flow into your motor and bend a rod. as everyone just said... no bueno

dual 300-440 rubber resenators is cheap way to run your sj too, if you blow up your waterbox.
no waterbox in a sj is for no brainer's.
i've heard sxr800's (1100 conv) pretty loud too, but a sj @@#$%^%$##%$#@# !!!!!!!!
