Can you cut sq. nose pole????

I was wondering if I could cut my square nose pole shorter? I cant find any post on that type of mod. I see a lot of roundnose and mostly people just changeing sq pole to rd pole... If there is a thread can anyone point me in the right direction.... Thanks

You can, and it's more effort than it's worth.
It's far easier and better looking to get a Roundnose pole, shorten it, and install it in your Squarenose. There are plenty of guides out there on how to do that.

Cutting a Squarenose pole is a lot of work, especially trying to make it look decent.
You can only cut about 2-3 inches before you have to start cutting the hood to make it all fit.

Was just typing the same thing. The RN Pole is much much easier to work with.

Roundnose pole conversion has to potential to be just as cheap, and look better, IMHO.
Square poles are just fugly, stock and aftermarket alike.

You can also use a stock SN bracket if you use enough washers to shim the RN pole.
Never done it, but have seen it done.

and you will have to grind the pole bracket. and on the pole to get it to fit and extend.
