Super Jet Can u shorten a sn handpole???

Hey guys im looking in to shorter handpoles and i know you can cut the rn pole but i was wondering of i could do the same thing with my sn pole??

You can. It's a major pain in the ass and I would not recommend it.

I did it just to get the feel of the shorter pole.
3" off the bottom, and re-drilled for the Pole bolt.
Was pretty easy, and free99, but temporary.
SN pole is still so heavy/prone to breakage. (I think they're made of cereal)
RN poles are so light, easy to shorten/make work on SN, strong,And super reasonable cost wise.. I paid $125 shipped for mine. I've seen a lot of em in the 100-200 range depending on yr, and inclusions..
I say if ur bored/time to spare/like free mods. doit. Ski feels MUCH better!

I put a shortened RN pole on my square and love it. The stock SN pole feels 20 pounds heavier once off the ski, ditch it for a stock RN!

You can. It's a major pain in the ass and I would not recommend it.

You have to CAREFULLY cut/splice it in the middle and then notch the hood. There are easier alternatives.
