Can ethanol be used in our skis?

Without following the above link.... you are having shortages because they are switching from the gasoline additive MTBE to Ethanol. Once the switchover is complete, the shortages will be over.

That is until we have another Hurricane Katrina and two weeks later a Rita... and then prices will be $5 a gallon.

Mark "mossman" filled up with some of that stuff. Not sure what it was but it said it had 95 octane and was I think the e85? His ski ran great for a day and at the end of the day he said he'd never run anything else.

The next week we went to the river and his ski ran terrible. So we siphoned out the e85 and put regular gas in and wallah! It ran great!
