thanks guys, i got the dual lamp setup. It definately made the glass get hot, but it was delaminating from my foam after sitting for a day so i just pulled the whole piece off and plan on using the tips given here maybe tomorrow to give it another shot.

if i mix the epoxy then heat it with a heat gun while it is in the mixing tray (till it turns to a runny liquid) would this be just as effective as heating the whole jug of resin and hardener?

No, DO NOT heat the mixed epoxy, it will just kick off in your mixing tray very quickly. If you are in an absolute hurry, soak your cans in hot (only as hot as your tap water will get) water. I would soak the can for a good hour. Be careful though, you only want your resin at ~75 degrees.

couldnt you just bring the jugs in the house in a cardboard box the day before you glass and get them to room temp????

then when you are ready to go, just bring them to the garage. as long as they are in a box it shouldnt make a mess.

then use the heat lamps once the glass is wetted out
