Super Jet Can anyone get a ski from Yuma or San Diego to Morro Bay, CA?

My new ski is currently in Yuma, but the owner might be willing to get the ski from Yuma to San Diego. T Curtis may be able to take the ski from Morro Bay to Surf Slam.

Anyone able to get a ski from SD to Morro Bay?

No crisis here, shipping is always a backup. Just hoping to get it sooner than later.

Looks like I won't have a way to get it from Yuma (where the ski is) to Morro Bay where T Curtis is (8hrs). Its not a huge deal, I can get the ski shipped worse case. Still looking for best case. I pm'd Zack to see what he knew.

Looks like Kommander might have a spot for me. There is one guy on the fence. This isn't a hull any more, its a complete ski minus pipe and ignition (which I have).

the other thing i can try to do is ask people at work that tend to travel to WA/OR
with the upcoming holidays i know some people do travel

another option, but this one may not be so good is to see when the snow birds leave from here maybe they can assist, but that wouldn't be till spring time (it's snow bird season soon, and no.... they are not white birds that fly in the ski.... yes i'll admit when i first heard that term i was looking in the ski for birds lol)

otherwise... looks like yellow freight or fed ex freight, i know there is a fed ex terminal here since i had gym equipment delivered last year

Thanks Don. Shipping is possible. Won't be here for SS, but oh well. I was just hoping for it by then, no big deal if it doesn't happen.

My grandparents are snow birds, but ya, wrong season for travel in this direction. They are up here now, back down to Mesa around Oct.

If I really wanted, I could go get it. I found a one-way flight out of here for $175, rent a mini-van one-way for $225, misc gas a food etc, $200, and I can have it here tomorrow night for around $600. But shipping should be $300ish and that extra $300 could go for a head or prop.

So T Curtis is still hauling skis up to SS. I can probably get the ski from Yuma to 2-3hrs West, so maybe San Diego. Anybody able to haul from San Diego to Morro Bay?
