Can anybody identify my set up?

I'm trying to get this junker started right for this summer and am having nothing but trouble. In another thread I found out that I need to check my reeds. Here are some pictures of my manifold setup, can anyone id this thing so I can start wrapping my head around my ski issues? Thanks.

62T cases, sometimes referred to as "Raider" cases.

Or, 64X, same thing. Source your reeds as such, cages are same for 701/760 dual carb, although you now are running a single carb w/ adapter plate.

XL700/GP760/96+ SJ/96 Blaster/Raider & Venture/etc. all use same cages and reeds. Many options out there, don't go w/ stock metal ones though!

Some will say that they help throttle response and others will say not to run them. If you are having problems with the ski you should concentrate on getting it solved before you start adding other mods. I have run them and personally my ski runs better without them. The whole carb, manifold, porting configuration will determine if the stuffers will help or not. Basically they will increase the air velocity in the intake tract before the reeds, maybe someone else here has a similar setup and can tell you if they liked them or not.

Thanks Keefer. I actually was just reading a post from 3 years ago that confirmed what you just said. Thanks again and I'll definitely get my problems sorted out before any other mods. In fact, no more mods for me. My '08 comes in soon and I'm gonna keep it a stock boat. RELIABILITY in the surf!!!
