Can a pinhole in Fuel tank...?

Here's the deal. i have a small pinhole in my fuel tank. My ski has a small Bog on low end almost like its loading up. Could this be the problem or is this something else? Top end say 4000 RPM up it runs great.

I was leading toward jetting untill I noticed this pinhole and Thought it might have something to do with it? THanks

The symptoms sounds like an air leak in the engine to me. Do a pressure check on the engine and I bet you find at leak one leak if not many. The fuel tank has a filter on it to allow air in so a tiny leak shouldn't make a difference. I would fix the fuel tank leak anyway though or you'll slowly rot the inside of your engine bay/cause a fire.

put a piece of ductape over the pinhole, and go ride, see if its better?

my guess is that a pinhole wont cause those conditions..

if it ran good prior to this i would clean my carbs and possibly rebuild after fixing the leak

i would fix the fuel leak before the ski explodes.

Yea, have another tank here. Just wondering if it's the reason for the "loading Up" feeling. The carbs were just rebuilt from a reputiable shop.

epoxie the hole, gas in hull not cool, then your going to put it in the lake/ocean...double not cool
