i got my first 650 x2 for 100 dollars, i would go for something like that, much more do able, i was able to ride it fine the first time on it, but i had been riden for years and years before i got my own, and it has aftermarket... so i would just keep and eye out for something with a little more power the deals are out there

I picked up a 650 SX for $150. It needs a lot of work and assembly but it's pretty much complete. Hopefully I'll get to try it out in another month or so. There's still ice in the lakes up here so I've got some time.

so I'm guessing i should be fine with my 550? i got it free.. i haven't ridden it besides in my pool I'm 190 pounds and in shape i ride flat water the ski has a new topend.. well i guess i'll find out soon I'm just about done sanding it
