Super Jet Buying a RN hull without title?

As funny as this all is,In Tennessee you just have to say,hey i traded for this and fill out a bill of sale.Nothing other than cars(an some trailers) have titles out here. My ski came from cali and the guy made a huge deal about having the title. Its nice to have especially if i ever sell it but definitely not needed out here.

Never did. I sold the hull to a guy on the west side of the state about two years ago. That guy ran out of money and is now apparently trying to sell it (without the XMW pole and WDK hood that I sold it with).
The pro freestyler claim came from him, certainly not me.
I have a very hard time believing that :laugh2:

lol this is great. Well that certainly makes it easier having the original owner. I'm going to buy it this weekend then. When I get the hin # do I just give it to you and have you fill out a release of interest or something like that?

Is that a good deal for $500 for that hull with damage bare? And a 61x compete motor? I have a square i'm going to transfer most parts from. THen I have my round nose pole on my square i can move over, and I would need to buy a hood, fix the nose and repaint/ returf.

It's a pretty decent deal. The hull needs work. The nose needs to be fixed but it should be pretty easy. The hull is pretty heavy, but well reinforced. It rides real nice.

Ride hard and you can be a pro like me .... there fixed it for you. :buttkick:

Matt_E, Do you happen to remember how much heavier your old hull is compared to a stock rn hull? Also what brand footholds did you put in it?

If it were mine again....I'd open up the tray and figure out if the 2-part foam in the top is soaked or not. Then find the leaks. Fix it, put it back together. The nose should be an easy fix.

It's a matter of getting used to it. New riders have trouble keeping stock skis from porpoising. You get better at it over time.
