Building stock class Superjet

The last superjet I built was in 97 after the Rn came out. I just purchased a 14 and want to build a stock class ski. Was wanting some suggestions on scoop/rideplate combinations and any comments on the MIII, destroyers, and macc racing front sponsons. Which are better for buoys?

The 08+ handles far better than the previous hulls. I have been doing a lot of research on ride plate and intake grate for buoys as well. From what I have heard the TBM Rideplate and Worx 228 intake is the best combo.

i ride with a couple people with newer hull sj's setup for lites. the destroyers work awesome. the r&D intake grate is what they like, they dont have too much preference on ride plates

Blowsion has carbon fiber ones but it doesn't specify what year model they are for, what type of handlepole and steering is the best now, we ran ac aluminum poles and umi steering on our old superjet.

handlepole is a lot of personal preference, but, what most people do is swap to an older style steering cable (or blowsion aftermarket cable) to increase steering throw. The stock cable is insufficient for tight turns

I think josh block ran hull extensions, probably helps in the chop but with that setback pump, not as drastic improvement as it was on the old hull.

Sponsons are personal preference since the hull has that shape already.

The prowatercraft racing plates are very nice.
