Building first sn sj

New to the standup scene and wanted to build a superjet over a Kawi. I have an aquatrax turbo but it's just not as fun as a standup. I live in az and just picked up a sn hull and a donor vxr to put the sj together. I'm missing lots of stuff but I'm hoping this site can helps it already has with finding a hull.

So I got the motor, ebox, and pump out if the donor today. It only took a couple of hours, and just needed some basic tools. I'm pretty sure I will be locating a shaft that connects to the pump, and a water box. Pretty straight forward and simple project so far.

Waiting on a waterbox and a driveshaft then I can make some serious progress. Superjet stuff is hard to come by in az, so I'm having to order out of state.

i think you need superjet bedplates to fit that motor. i have a SN waterbox i might be willing to part with so i can buy a aftermarket waterbox.

Waterbox, bars, steering cable unless I can use the one from the donor, driveshaft, handlebars, chin pad for a round nose pole, maybe intake grate, knowledge and suggestions are welcomed lol.

I have a guy that hooked me up with the hull off of here. He's pretty much looked for everything. I got the main things coming in the mail.

So I finally got ahold of a driveshaft and water box. I noticed that the prop is an aftermarket skat teak and has a 4 and a 7 on it. Seems to be in great condition. Now that I'm looking at the pump housing though it seems to be missing a brass fitting. Is there something that I can use to fill the hole then putting the fitting into? Is this the right nozzle?

thats the stock siphon bilge fitting. tap it like above mentioned and cool the pipe and cylinders separately.

yea for the time on the stock hull id keep the siphon bilge as well. they work well and are cheap insurance of your ski filling with water.

I run a siphon on all my stuff.

I assumed you had a newer exit nozzle with the Venturi setup for the bilge there.

You need a black rubber hose that works as a siphon to run the bilge on that setup. Unless you use the siphon on the exit nozzle.

So I finally got the ski put together and running. I couldn't get it to prime at first so I poured a little gas in the carb and got it to fire up. After a while of riding the throttle cable came loose and so I fixed it. After that I couldn't get it to fire up again and killed the battery trying. I still have to some bugs to work out like running consistently, new bushings and bolt for my rn pole, the steering won't turn all the to one side I don't remember which way, and I had to hack the battery cable for the positive wire to make it longer.
