Building a trailer - suggestions welcome

So I can't find a suitable trailer to tow my 650sx and blaster 2. The double stand-up trailer I wanted to use wasn't wide enough. Nor long enough for the blaster.

And the single trailer the blaster is on, well we thought of building a second bunk above it that swings down. But I worry about the center of gravity being too high. Plus you know complexity.

Anyway my father has recently finished building a trailer for the family ski boat (and refurbished a second it sat on while he built it)

He managed to get an a frame and axles/suspension. So were now looking at building a trailer.

Is there any ideas anyones seen that they have thought would be a great addition. Or things they wish they had.

Scratch building a trailer may as well make it tailored to our needs and wants.

Whereabouts are you located? Might be worth your while going to race and checking out all the trailers at the event. I've seen some great ideas over the years that I've integrated into my own trailer/s. Take a tape measure and try to be there when the owners are around so you can ask questions and not look like you're trying to flog stuff!

Live in Melbourne, Australia.
Haven't been to any races. But everything ive seen over here is all off the shelf.

The exception being my mates stand up trailer wich I love. But can't be modified to fit. I love its compact size. The twin jerry can holders in front of the ski's and the checker plate bottom so you can walk up and around when one ski is off.

Might be worth signing up to OzFreeride and OzPWC forums. Both have classified sections. There's currently a 1 sit down + 1 stand up trailer on the OzFreeride site, it's in Melbourne. Those sites also publicise race/free ride events. I'm sure they'll have something this summer happening in Melbourne or Geelong. Trailers always turning up on Gumtree, also.

Had a look at that trailer last week but he was only interested in swapping for a new single trailer.
