not sure this is the right area but is there anybody making this trek anytime soon with a truck or trailer with an open spot for a ski? Wanting to buy a ski located in Buffalo but I do not have a vehicle with a hitch and shipping doesn't seem to be an option.

Nothing right now, but shipping for a stand up should be lesss than fuel costs?? Whole ski or just hull etc? Keep asking there are enough of us around here, im normally going the opposite way, sorry

is the issue money or the seller doesnt want to box the ski up? did you try you ship or some other shipping service? you might be able to find someone willing to pick it up not boxed.

ajmps1 - the seller said he just doesn't have the time to get it ready to ship...i will look into something like that but then i run the risk of it being damaged during transit if not boxed

Try going to the classified forum at vintagesleds.com. and post that you need a ski moved, be sure to mention that it is a stand up ski (smaller) and takes up less space than a sled. Seems like there is someone allways moving sleds and parts across the northeast. The guy to talk to on that site is Joe Rainville, I'm sure he would know someone.
