Broken Throttle Cable Bracket

97 Yamaha superjet. Lloyd Burlew old school freestyle ski. mods not completely known to me

Single Carb.

I broke my throttle cable bracket. After searching for a replacement, this does not seem to be the standard OEM bracket.
The broken bracket connects via the nut and bolt that hold the carb to the manifold.

Anyone recognize this bracket or have idea on how to replace?

Anyone know what the advantage would be to this bracket vs OEM? it does change the angle of the cable approach.

Also removal was easy since broken but i realized when loosening the nut I cannot remove it completely because its blocked by the throttle shaft mechanism.
Excuse my ignorance, but I'm still definitely learning as I go.

It reminds me of this throttle bracket that I used when I upgraded to a single SBN 46 Mikuni on the 61x in my Waveblaster earlier this year. Instead of the throttle bracket pulling the throttle wheel from below, it pulls the throttle wheel from above. You do have to remove the throttle wheel at the end of the throttle shaft and reposition it 180 degrees in the other direction to use this bracket that I posted the link to.

Thank you. jpswift1
I ordered the kommander bracket that fixes into the diaphragm cover. As you stated it will change the pull angle so I will have to change the throttle cam.
I am also seeing if someone can just build me a knew bracket like the old one so I don't have to make any changes. I really just want to ride and have minimal downtime.
thanks,
dd
