broken ribs

I crashed my CRF on Sun and broke two ribs (very very painfull), has anyone else had a injury like this and how long to heal enough to ride agian? I know I should have been on my ski and this would not have happend

ouch. i just bruised mine a while back falling on a downed tree trunk and they hurt for 5-6 weeks.

sneezing...sucks, laying down...sucks, getting up.....sucks.

I broke a couple of riblets (the joint of the ribs to the sternum). And yes, it hurt, but I'm sure not like actual broken ribs. To this day they still bother me. If I move a certain way or sleep in an awkward position, my chest will ache. And then the snap, crackle & pop is very interesting. Kinda grosses people out if they hear it.

All I can say it just give it time & don't push it. Sucks man...speedy recovery.

Doc said 3 weeks of pain, I was afraid to ask when I could ride again, couldn't happen at a worse time, weather just started getting nice
