My brother was putting a new pipe on his 550 and he thought he took all the bolts off the exhaust manifold and when he went to hammer it off the top end, he forgot a bolt and took a piece off the top end. He really doesn't want to buy a new top end, can he just put the manifold on with or without that piece he broke off. It shouldn't effect it because the manifold will still sit flush and will be covered by it. Also the new manifold doesn't even use that hole for where the bolt hole on the top end broke off. uploadfromtaptalk1445109708897.jpguploadfromtaptalk1445109714964.jpguploadfromtaptalk1445109717758.jpguploadfromtaptalk1445109725216.jpg

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the water flow into the cylinder through the exhaust manifold? If that piece is cracked its gonna leak water big time... That's the whole seal to the water jackets!

Dude you're gonna need a new cylinder

Good point, he said he is going to jb weld the broken piece and decide what he is going to do with it later. Let's hope the jb weld holds
