Broken battery box again!

Anyone made aluminum or ss battery box for the x2 or sx?

Shouldn't be that hard to fab one yourself. . . Five pieces of SS or Aluminum is all that they are, throw in some rubber or turf for padding . . .

Damn I have been riding in the ocean on a couple different SJ's for over a year now and I have not even cracked my battery box. Whats up with you guys? I guess I'm just not hardcore enough. Any ideas on what trick/move your doing when it breaks?

yea me too..i even butchered it with a sawzall to clear my kenny keepers and its strong as new?????..and tust me my ski has been spending plenty of time flipping throught the air without me on it latley and it dosnt land smooth when that happens :banghead:

you can make it out of one piece if you have decent welding skills
