Hello from a new guy here. I lurked around for a day or two, and it looks like y'all have a great forum.
I should have a new SuperJet waiting for me at the airport next week, and wanted advice/ recommendations on what oil to run for the first tank or two.
It seems like the concensus back in the day was that full synthetic oils are too slippery for break-in, and the rings won't seat like they should. Having been out of the jetski loop for some time, does this still hold true?
Also, does anyone run Bel-Ray oil? My old SJ seemed to like it, it burned gallons of the stuff with good results. Having grown up running Bel-Ray in everything, I'm inclined to stick with 'em, unless I can be pointed towards something better. My intention is to run full synthetic after break-in.
Thanks in advance, :beerchug:
