boxing in the front lip

What would be good to use to fill in the front lip of an SJ? I"m going to fiberglass it but want to know what you guys use to fill the void. Also, is blowsion the only place that sells the extended bow eye?

Ross and others have used foam to fill the void, and then glass over. IMO, unless you are a notorious nose breaker, this is total overkill that just makes your shiat heavier. Just reinforce the inside of the nose, and be done with it.

Yep. Two layers of biax inside the nose and a good three under the lip should be plenty.

Why? Just glass the inside of the nose. Remember it will break somewhere.

Yes......although we sometimes use "Great Stuff" from home depot. It works just as well.
