Super Jet bought a beater square nose but no title...

what are the best options for getting a replacement(?) title? or just making it legal?

in WA you just go to dol with the hin# and they will give you a form and address of person who it is registered to and then you have to write them a letter and ask for them to transfer it to you if they dont answer you, you will get a temp registration and in like 3 years if there are no issues you get a title.

i was told the guy i bought it from's son bought it from a friend who died before they ever got around to signing a title??

so i guess the guy whose name it is in is dead.

I went through this, and in FL, you might be screwed. You have to tackle the hull # and track down the last person to hold the title, you have to get them to sign over a power of attorney form, and then you get the title, but tracking down the person can be a PITA!!!! I found the owner for my 550 and then it was simple
