SXR Bottom end hesitation ?

I have an 09' sxr with a wet pipe and advent ignition. When I first installed my wet pipe in the fall I noticed bottom end hesitation when the motor is hot. I was not able to do tail stands and if I let off when the motor is hot it takes about 10 seconds to get out of a bog. I ordered a flow control valve over the winter thinking it would help but it did nothing. I followed the fp instructions and made sure I did everything right. My pipe screws are set with the top: half turn, middle: closed, bottom: half turn. Can ssomebody please help me solve this!!

Yes I did the jetting to fp specs. My friends stock sxr is way faster. When it gets a bog and a hold it wide Open it takes about 15 seconds to gain any power*

is your advent a t-3 ? if so what program are you running ? also what is done to your boat ? all this matters...if you are running an aggressive timing curve and you have installed a pipe you need to adjust your fuel mixture accordingly (low speed screws at very least) not just your main jet . are you running f/a or stock intake ? does it idle good ?

I would open your low speeds another half turn and yours highs a quarter. I had the same thing and that fixed jt.

AFTER you do that get the reeds. I have v force 3s installed before I got a pipe, flywheel, and prop, and was really glad I did. The increase in bottom end is crazy noticeable. Every SXR needs a set.

Aftermarket parts:
factory wet pipe
advent ignition ( ordered through blowsion at the same time as the pipe)
flow control valve
Aluminum flywheel (not installed yet)

The guy at blowsion set up the timing curve for what I have done to my ski.

The ski is not idling very good and has a stock intake.

well check it out ,i will use my set up as an example ,so you can have some parameters to go off of .i cant say that it will be exactly what you need but you can use it as a guideline to help diagnose your problem.i am running advents d-23 program with it set to curve 2 now this is a fairly aggressive curve (compared to a stock curve) adding timing down low .with a wet pipe set up with both bottom and middle screws closed and top opened about 3/8 -1/2.prok f/a on my intake (if your going to keep your stock intake, remove one of the three f/a screens per carb minimum and the trumpets on your intake.)also i found that a 2.0 needle and seat works really well but if you go this route you might end up having to adjust your pop off up one spring rate.all the techno mumbo jumbo aside it sounds like you might be set up on the lean side since the mods you have done.i would start by adjusting your low speed screws out until you can get your boat to idle good before making any other adjustments (you should do this at the water so you can test it).also last but not least ,plug check ,you don't want your plugs totally dry when your at low rpm they should look oily when coming in at like idle speed and golden at mid to top.hope this helps jetting is difficult to help with unless you know all the pieces to the puzzle.hope this helps.
