Bore cylinders to larger size? Pros and cons?

Ok, for those following my recent fun:

You can see I have some work ahead of me. Now at this point I need at least a hone, maybe a bore.

I have a couple questions:

If I bore to say 82mm or 83mm will I need to re-jet?

If I bore to 82 or 83 will I lose any bottom end?

This is a 61X, is it sleeved?

Will boring affect my porting?

Based on the pictures in the original thread, and guesses on what killed my rear piston?

why not bore it to next size up prob .25 , jetting should not matter and u will not loose bottom end, porting wont be messed up, But u need to find the cause of rear deto.

The larger my bore got on my TLR cylinders the better it ran.

if you bore up to 82.5 or 83mm, the compression ratio will go up quite a lot if your already high on compression ratio if your at 81mm bore now.

boring will lower your timing a bit but depends on how sleeves are cut on port job.
