Super Jet bogging?

I've got a bog in my 91 sj but not sure how to get rid of it. I think it may be water coming in the intake. It seems to happen when I "try" to sub or do something that lets a lot of water in the through the hood. I've got a k&n filter on my carb, could that be my problem? Maybe its sucking in water?

Well it'll bog down when I take on a lot of water then I just keep it at full throttle and it just barely runs but after about 2min or so it'll clear out and run fine. Guess I should try the stock filter? Or anyone know of one that's better?
