FX-1 BOB on a Budget Buildup

the AM blowsion 144 pump "fits" right in but holy hell its tight. I ground the pump shoe out to about 140 I'd guess so it's close. And there's a stainless skat inside the pump.

Anybody know what the tube on the right is?

It comes out as this on the other side. I'm confused.

its for the stock battery (lead acid). If the ski gets upside down, the acid with run out in that tube, instead of the engine bay.

Finished the intake, ride plate, steering, and the adjustable bold plates. It's 100% ready for turf now.

I'm super thankful the 144 pump came with a pre-modified jet dynamics ride plate. Any FX1 plate would come nowhere near to fitting. This one has been mostly grounded completely away around the pump then JB welded into a new shape on the bottom.

Those 144 pumps do NOT go in easy lol. A lot of fab work to make everything fit. There are quite a few threads on here showing other people doing it so you should be able to follow one of those. I did this with a buddy on his fx1 and it is not for the faint of heart.

The ski most likely had a B pipe or some aftermarket exhaust on it before that a previous owner took off and put this exhaust on before the sale

I think the ping pong compartment might be collecting water. Anybody have any good rear drain ideas? Worse case scenario I might put some SXR style drain(s) on it.

The thrust mini drains look good and are only 1/2".
