My X-Metal 865 from world finals will be going in my main comp hull, we got that thing running better than the 1000 we have. We still need to figure out what I'll be doing for competition next year, but for now, the 865 will be tons of fun to play around on.

It's gonna be a new ski from the Gen2. The changes from the Gen1 to the Gen2 were pretty big, we're going for the same thing with the Gen2 to the Gen3. I'll be getting the first hull from the moulds, and we've got some BIG plans for the ski...

The picture really makes it dramatic looking.

But to answer the question, yes. We test every change we make before we decide its final. We've tested the Gen3 bottom deck on the plug, and I was really happy with it. The plug had a very de-tuned 1000cc motor, and the complete unit was a little over 300lbs, and I was doing no hander 360's and one-hander/ one-footer rolls no problem. Can't wait to get on a light weight version with more power!
