Custom/Hybrid BOB G2 water condition riding characteristics?

I'm planning on getting a bob ben2, but want to know what it rides like in different water conditions. We normaly ride fresh flat water freestyle, but also a lot of times we ride chop, windy bigger waves, chasing boat wakes, and crazy river rides. I like to ride agressive and have as much fun as possible.

So my main concern is, I know the bob does good in flat water freestyle but how does it perform in the other conditions I listed?

Any type of help is greately appriciated.

I've never rode one but from what I have read and saw, they ride well in different conditions but suck on long rides cause their so short

If you look you can find different stuff.

Look up Tpain on here and Christian Young on youtube, they both ride nothing but surf on Gen 2 Bobs.

Look up Derrick Kemnitz Jr and his dad, they ride Gen 2's on Flatwater and win championships with it.

Also read this review T-pain posted recently on this hull in different conditions and characteristics about the hull.

My normal riding spot is exactly what was mentioned in the original post - sometimes flat, sometimes choppy. We get a lot of boats in our area, so we tend to chase them down here and there, and we've got an awesome tully maze area we like to hit up a lot too. We also offer an extended ride plate to help make the Gen2 ride more like a Super Jet if you want to go on long cruises on it.

In all the conditions listed, IMO, the worst is the chop at high speed. I can do it but its not fun ! All other are easy to ride.

EDIT: I ride river too, but with my old SN, never i will put a ski over 10k in these conditions(rock, tree, sand...)

Raytherace- I'm definitely not going to take it on any rivers here lol. I'll do the same as you and use my old sn for river rides.

Tmart- Thank you for that link to tpains thread on the bob g2. It was actually really helpful and a good read.

Dk- My dad nvjay775 on here just got off the phone with orangefinger chris who just demod one of your skis. He had amazing things to say about you guys and also the hull which really is helping me with my decision on it. Also I have a riva dry pipe which is like the type 4 dry pipe and wasn't sure if it will fit in the hull?

Thank you everyone for your help and hopefully be able to make an appt here one of these days with the ski clinic to demo one.

Don't think a Rive pipe would fit. Just hit me up and we'll schedule a day for you to come down! Right now we're just demoing my brothers 760 BOB, small little motor helps people to get more of a feel for the hull. Figured that my comp ski with the 865 would be a bit much ;)
