Bob Demo at the Suisun races

Saturday I went for the first time to Suisun. Very cool town. The whole city and small downtown is built around a Marina the size of a couple of football fields, with a park and a historic downtown with great food everywhere and just a possitive vibe in the air.

I talked to DK early in the week and he told me about the races so I made plans to meet up with aquaman and str8huckin. Met up with the guys, hooked up with DK and DK1.

Fact: spending just a few moments with DK or DK1 you can get a bit of info or advice that can change your whole game for the better.

DK and DK1 put on two big air flat water freestyle shows for around 20-25 minutes each. Both of these guys are just unreal on skis, the speed, style, air, creativity, is hard to match. Both were on Kevlar Gen3 BOBs.

The time trials and races ended up being pretty cool and I am now a bit of a fan. I have never been a fan of doing any kind of racing except the sand drags in Glamis.

Lesson learned for me was I need to support and be involved in ALL of jetski sports. Show up buy a shirt, a burger, clap, scream, whistle, bring friends, and have fun, spend a little money in the town that is the venue and supporting the event and be real nice to the locals.

great pics b31s !!! thanks for the post ! where is this place ? it looks like a awesome place to hold an event .....

Suisun City, CA. Its a great venue, but the water... not so much. Brown, very thick, about 5' at the deepest, and not to mention jelly fish. The crowd loved it though, you know its a good turnout when you can hear the audience from the water!

nice guy's ! yea i remember jelly fish being a pain (literally) when i lived on the east coast for a couple of summers ,those suckers would move in with the tides and zap the $%^ out of ya. 5' is a sketchy depth for sure. great riding !!! it's great to see you guy's out there at the events promoting the sport .kudos'
