blowsion/wamiltons sxr hull

I think the only time a aftermarket hull is needed is flatwater freestyle
I agree with sxrforever with the internal fill. I'm not a fan. It just makes a mess in your motor bay and takes more time
But then everyone gets to see your sweet motor set-up.

Those aftermarket hulls seem pretty sweet. If i was going to build a freestyle SXR, surf or flatwater, I would definetly use one. They are the same weight as a stock SJ hull and you won't have to put as much work into the SXR motor as you would a superjet for the same outcome because you power to weight ratio is a lot better.

I am still not a fan of paying 5k+ for a OEM style hull that is lighter. The SXR has better handling charcteristics than a SJ..........and it is IMO a superior design. However, it is still a big boat. If you were to make it shorter like a SJ and add SJ style topdeck w/ the SXR hood latch setup that ski would be nice. It would be very similar to the SXR/Octane hull that EME developed but it really is a nice combo.
