oopss. missed your post sanford.

I got a bilge, straight bars, new grips, throttle trigger, bilge switch and a couple other odds and ends.

I hope to get a set of footholds, new turf and engine hold downs in December . I want to do the install while it is cold. I also hope to install a bow ring under the bumper area to make for easier towing so the nose doesnt' dive.

Yeah, I too have plenty of work to do on mine during the cold season.

The trick to keep the nose from subbing while towing, keep a very short rope. You want the SJ to ride on the very top of the pump wash wake.

The tow ring is not worth it. Mine broke after the 3rd tow or so. Just snapped the steel strands right in half. Use rope or a nylon strap and tie it through the bow eye. Just my opinion and experience.

Tow Loops

There is a warranty on the tow loop.. IF you use it for it's intended purpose of towing only. It's not intended to be used as a "tie down" hook for securing your ski on the trailer, etc.
