Blowsion OVP universal

So I bought the Blowsion OVP universal system and was installing it on my new aura billet handpole when I noticed that even with grease it isn't easy to turn. Anyone with the same system have any insight on how tight the steering pivot bolt should be? When I ran it looser so it would steer freely it has side to side play and I don't want that at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Note: this steering system is the universal system meant for any handpole with the four bolt mounting pattern. It does not have a taper bearing like the original Blowsion OVP but instead has two small flat caged needle bearings on top and on bottom of the "turn plate"

i installed that system on a buddies ski. IMO it's not the best design. It's kinda like they tried to knock off rrp but failed where they made that inner sleeve threaded. I've noticed that my buddies system just seems to tighten itself up. I've had it apart 4 or 5 times now dealing with it.

Damn that's not what I wanted to hear.

It's either free steering but a tiny bit of slop or tighter than crap and no matter what I've tried it just seems to get tighter

This is stupid. There's gotta be a way to fix all this. I wish I would have known it's not even close to the same design as the OVP system they use on their own pole. I wouldn't have bought the dang thing.
