I've seen a few JK hoods, and none of them appeared in need of a beefing up.
What's your experience been with them? :dunno:

There are two versions of the hood a lighter flatwater or a heaver surf. I wonder if all the ones you have seen were the surf ones?

Every single one I've seen has been on the beach, so I bet that's it.

The Jk hood is awesome in the surf mine has taken a beating and showing no signs of being weak or stress cracks and lets barely any water in. It lines up and seals great. Beats the wcf hood factory i had.

Steve at WCF can lay up a hood to my specs so thats probably what I'll get but he and i have to discuss it over a cold one at Kokomos.
