Blowsion Joe kenney hood

Anyone using a JK hood and nose piece? I'm thinking of picking one up at the world finals since Blowsion will be there.
Its for my winter build, I'm up in the air on which hood and nose piece to buy. I've got a 24-7 on one ski my buddy's using XFT I've seen a couple of WDK's . I was just wondering what your opinion is on the Blowsion JK hood.

if you have the older 24/7 sr-71 hoods i'll trade you for my blowsion JK hood, just wont to try something different

The Blowsion hood is pretty stout and the quality/construction is great!

How heavy is the JK hood my 24-7 hood is heavy but it has extra re-enforcement, basically I'm looking for a strong lite hood to put on my new hull that I'm building this winter. XFT hood is really lite but it hangs over the tray too much in my opinion.

i dont know the weight of mine but it feels super light. lighter than my wamiltons hood for sure.

Mine is just a little lighter then the stock hood. I have had it for two and a half year and ride mainly in the surf year around its holding up good.

Thanks for the info fellas. Other than the WDK , Wamilon , XFT , and Blowsion are there any other hoods I should be checking out? I know Trinity composites is working on SJ stuff but I dont know if a hood and nose piece are going to be ready soon.

The JK is good, very strong. Not the greatest if you do hood tricks. If you dont, get it.

i wouldnt get one, there thin as hell, and let water in real quick.

Grif has my old JK hood, that hood was build like a tank.

tank indeed, i have not seen or herd of a JK hood needing repair or "beefing up". The JoeKenny hood was built for surf.

you can try a WCF. It weights around 12 lbs and it comes with a lifetime warranty!

off the shelf wamilton 16.25 lbs
My wamilton that was built for lenzi that was suppose to be built for comp only,sorry no warranty due to super light 16.25lbs

Diablo never wieghed it

I've seen a few JK hoods, and none of them appeared in need of a beefing up.
What's your experience been with them? :dunno:

I have no experience with the hood I just knew Blowsion was bringing some to Havasu . I'm leaning towards WCF now . Hey MATTE thanks for the foaming info.
