blowsion (jet dynamics) rideplate and intake

have a protec ride plate and intake on my 95 fx1. thinking about picking up some new parts. blowsion has a jet dynamics on their website. I ride lake waves and flat water. looking for some advise if anyone has these. thanks

I was one of the guys in that group on pwctoday. Bob Morgan the owner of shredmaster would have made a run if there were 3 to 5 guys ordering them but he passed away suddenly about a week ago so who knows what gonna happen with the shop

i have a old riva groovy on mine and a jet dynamics intake grate, i would d cut my rideplate when i have the chance just to loosen it up a tad but i love how it rides as it is. real good hookup in rough water i rip right past people with no intake grate through the chop haha!

My $.02, stock plate all the way. Unless you want to carve a bit more where the shred master or JD helps.

JD pushes the nose down and hooks hard, kinda makes it hard to slide. Needs a lot of steering input to turn. Less porpoising when pinning it.

Stock plate lets you slide until the rail grabs. Good for surf and flat. D cut picks the nose up a bit - good for surf or FW freestyle riding.

JD weighs as much as an anchor. Protec is good if cut to stock length. Stock cracks easy. Tom21 is the best - light, cheap, strong.

Shred master is good. Hooks more with less lean, but then gives up all of a sudden and you slide. Overall not a bad plate, but a little less predictable than stock.

IMHO

Yeah I have just found about the shred master letting go plate on the fx1
It's a pain I'm not sure I like this plate at all. I will give it another go but it takes away from the laying it in hard that the fx1 is famous for. You have to ride it flatter

Dont machine it flat ill trade you a protec plate for that shred master if your just gonna make it flat anyways
