Blowsion Head

I did a search, but could not find out much information about the blowsion head. I am about to buy/bought a used Blowsion Head and I was wondering what everyone thought of this head. It's alot more expensive than an ADA at 469.85. Is it any better than an ADA or Riva Head?

It comes with 35cc domes and on blowsion's website it says that I have to use 100+octane fuel. Are they just covering their a$$es and can I get by with 93? I know techinically you can run pump gas on a 35cc ADA head. It's going on a nonported 701.

Thanks:biggthumpup:

i think ada makes them for blowsion.

The Blowsion head is a Prodesign. It is nothing like an ADA. It uses a two piece shell and is the same as the wammer, greater. the domes 35cc shouldl work for you on pump gas

It will be a good head for you, but it looks like you are pretty far down the list of peps interested in it. The seller is a pretty good dude as well.

if the price is good, get the blowsion, just hard to beat the ADA's price.
also, contact Paul, he has some ADA Shells that he will make you a good price on.

go ada all the way if you service your head at all it will make life easier the two are alot harder to work with . especially riva head a ton of orings aligment pins to match up and fall out and the orings a nightmere . ada is the only spend a couple of bucks more and get the ada you will want to in the future anyway

i have a riva (2pc head) and wife is running an ada. its true that there are less pieces on the ada, but ive never had any oring issues with the riva.

i have never had an ada dome spin either and i have changed literally hundreds and hundreds . the riva doeshave locating pins that are a pain if you service them often . but the orings they dont blow out or something they work good they get the job done but if you are going to spend the money . also the more parts there are the more there are to fail or get lost in assembly . also it is going to depend on what you are running now because the ada domes usually have around .15 relief and the riva domes are flush to the cylinder . just a thought i have used both actually swithced to riva from ada because it was easier to get custom domes and now i am going back to ada .
