I'm wanting to put a set of these on my blaster as well. I was just reading this thread and got to wondering how much force these will take. Will these rip out? I have never used this type of foothold before. I've always had the glassed in style like diggers. But thats not very feesable on a blaster as we all know. Just don't want to get it all done and be rippin on them and yank one or both out. Have any of you experienced this problem with these.

For a B1: Drill through the hull and use a nut on the back of your screw. Pull the battery tray to get behind there. I have found that the Blaster pulls a little harder in a roll then a SJ.

Thats what I was thinking I could probably do, but wasn't sure. I may see if I can get a flat piece of 1/8 aluminum 1-1/4" wide and maybe 4-1/2" long
and use it as a big washer and run the mounting bolts thru the hull and then thru this and then nuts over that for extra support beneath the strap.

The DAKINE Supremo Footstraps have a rubber end that fits over the stainless barrel that's the same height and then the stainless plate bolts on top with 10/32 pitch 3/8" length screws for a perfect fit.

They almost work too well and give the impression of being like they should almost come with the straps.

So I just go pick up what 2 or 4 per strap? Then epoxy it down before turf and then the barrel fits in whichever hole I choose in the Dakine's and I put in a 10/32, 3/8' screw with nut and I'm good to go?
