Blaster paint questions? Stock Color & Paint Quantities.....

I'm prepped and ready for paint on my '94 WB1. Searched around but didn't find posts mentioning how much paint & primer are needed to do a ski? 1 pint, 2? :dunno:

Basically I'm painting to eliminate the purple uke: which is the top hull, bottom of the hood, and seat base.

Also, does anyone know the color of white the stock bottom is? I want to try to match that but when I went to my local PPG dealer I was surprised they don't do sample cards like your HD's or Lowes do with homepaint. They said I can bring the ski by but that's gonna be hard with my schedule and store hours and considered a last resort.

the ppg store can look up the white color under fleet then yamaha waverunner and they DO have color chips like lowes but they are in a binder and the PPG store usualy wont have fleet colors. only the last like 10 years of cars but dont let them tell you they cant look up Yamaha cause they can, I just got some today... What type of paint are you gonna use and what do you mean by 'primer'? are you gonna prime it then resand? or do you want a primer sealer that you are gonna spray then recoat with color then clear or single stage? What is it sanded with now? and did you use any bondo or what? I own a paintshop feel free to call me any time and ill let you in on how to go about it with good results, Jared 314 368 9040
