I already bought a complete blaster hull, and the guy i bought this hull from has a couple X2, so i can get an X2 instead. I kinda like the raw bad boy look of an X2 but was wondering which ski rules over the other.. Which one will make a better wave monster?

Im still going with the blaster unless recommended otherwise by the pros.

What do u guys think?

Thanx

I would say both. But I am with you I do like the ugly pigface look of the x-2, but the blaster is nice.

Go both if you can swing it

depends on how much energy you want to put into the project.if you dont do almost everything that pete did you probably wont be happy.

in other words stock for stock the blaster is superior

having both machines to ride myself i would recomend the X2 with a low end prop, head, and pipe, my x2 gets ridden 4x more than my blaster its easy to throw around, due to its light weight, it is a complete blast in big surf

X2- Kawasaki Engineering:1244: :trink26:

WaveBlaster- Yamaha Engineering:thinkerg:

X2+Kawasaki Engineering= Owner work/repair:frown:
WaveBlaster+Yamaha Engineering= Less Owner wrenching/repair:smile:

Depends if you want to ride CONSISTENTLY when it comes time to. :cool2:

i say blaster you only need one. notice everyone that has a x2 has 3plus so they can keep one running. plus your blaster can get the hammie downs from the sj

I don't agree with that. I picked up my 1990 X2 from a relative who put it in his garage (did NOT winterize it) in 1996 and never touched it again. I got it last summer in 2005 (so it sat for 8-9 years without being winterized). It didn't take too much to get it running - the only major thing was a carb rebuild, but I ended up getting one from WAB on the cheap. That, new battery and plugs and she was good to go!

ill defintely agree that yamis engines are engineered better that kawis. no doubt about it.

the "61X2" is in the future.... stay tuned.....:cool2:

Hmm.. ya a bit confusing... but anyways im thinking if i stick with the blaster i can later on just put my current motor in it since im getting a stroker for my xft:Banane01:

Maybe i would have went with an X2 but i really dont want to spend loads of money on another ski.

Will an SXR motor bolt up in an X2?

How much will it run me to have a X2 like Petes? Is there a build up page for his ski?

Thanx
