Blaster Hood Seal Advice

1994 B1, Stock hood seal is trashed. Any suggestions on a replacement? I see folks using various foams/weatherseal items from McMaster Carr for their SJs. Anyone using these on thier Blasters?

What's wrong with getting a new stock one? There is no way I would use foam there.

to hell with a stock hood seal. Honestly, the hood seal on a blaster isn't a huuuuge deal. Just find something that will work. Ross is currently using Hydroturf on his FX1 believe it or not. Give that a shot.

Check out JetSki Solutions, they have a good hood seal system. I've have two buddies who use it on their blasters already and it works.

I got mine from jetski solutions. There was a big debate about them before but, I think it was for the superjets. I put mine on with contact cement. It seals and does fine. :biggthumpup: I ride in the surf only. It not used to hold the rocket boosters on the shuttle or anything so it's not like it's a life threatning item.
